Professional development - international programs

The International Academy of Integrity & Innovations, in collaboration with Daugavpils University, as well as universities and educational organizations from Ukraine, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia and Spain, develops and implements professional development programs for specialists.

An international Erasmus Mundus Master's program in Education Holistic Master's in Education: Eco-Competencies for Human Values and Innovation is currently being developed in collaboration with four universities: Daugavpils University (Latvia), Ukrainian Catholic University (Ukraine), Castilla La Mancha University, (Spain) and Palacky University in Olomouc (Czech Republic).

A Spiritual Intelligence-Enhancing, Value-Based, Personality-Forming and Therapeutic Approach in Education

Program Scope

30 hours

Audience

Educators, class teachers, social workers, and other professionals working with children and families, as well as parents

The program aims to promote the development of spiritual intelligence in society by integrating a value-based approach into the educational process and providing a transformative, child-centered, therapeutic environment conducive to personality development—both in schools, families, and extracurricular activities

Program Objectives:

  • To implement training that enhances the knowledge of specialists and parents in creating a value-driven educational and nurturing environment, fostering children’s spiritual intelligence, and addressing issues related to the personal ethics, renewal, and inner healing of adults as educators and caregivers.
  • To create an appropriate learning and practical training environment that develops the personalities of specialists and parents and enhances their ability to integrate art-based methods into the educational and upbringing processes. These methods aim to promote children’s personal development, improve their emotional well-being, and support the renewal and transformation of adult personalities.

To achieve these objectives through a three-module program

  • Module 1: Spiritual Development as a Transformative and Inspirational Path for Personality Growth – Theory and Practice.
  • Module 2: Understanding the Concept of Spiritual Intelligence and Exploring Practical Opportunities for Its Development.
  • Module 3: Exploring Therapeutic Aspects in Pedagogy and Applying Practical Therapeutic Methods in Educational and Upbringing Processes.

Restorative Professional Development Program for Psychologists and Other Supportive Professionals Working in Crisis Situations

Program Scope

30 hours

Audience

psychologists, psychotherapists, teachers, social workers, police officers, chaplains, military professionals and other specialists who provide assistance to others in crisis situations

The program aims to strengthen professional competence for psychologists and other support profession specialists who work with individuals in crisis situations,promote personal and professional growth, helping to develop new skills and approaches for crisis management,improve the ability to provide effective emotional and psychological support, facilitating long-term recovery and resource restoration in crisis situations, expand understanding of restorative practices and their application in various crisis situations, such as natural disasters, social crises, or personal tragedies and offer therapeutic, restorative support to professionals working with individuals in crisis situations.

Mission for Ukraine

In Chortkiv, Ukraine, the Therapy Home is being reconstructed to serve as an experimental laboratory for testing an innovative approach to education that is ecological and aligned with children's nature, aimed at developing children's spiritual intelligence and exploring growth opportunities in an international context.

Currently, initiatives are underway in Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Ukraine, Slovakia

As part of the Daugavpils University (Latvia) psychopedagogical intervention program for developing children's Spiritual Intelligence has been developed and its effectiveness has been scientifically studied. The program is being implemented in schools in both Latvia and Ukraine.
